A great way to experience Zadar was to stay at the Lazy Monkey Hostel, conveniently located close to the beaches of Zadar. The welcome by the staff was excellent and the hostel has a great vibe, perfect for fellow young travellers. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to everyone passing a few days in Zadar !

Klasse Hostel, welches auch in Asien sein könnte. Hier herrscht irgendwie konstant Partyvibe, egal ob mit den Angestellten oder den recht jungen Gästen (Anfang 20 überwiegend). Es gibt Mehrbettzimmer, diese sind spärlich; wirklich zu empfehlen sind die Zweibettzimmer im ersten Stock, welche über private Balkone, küche und Bad verfügen. Nettes Flair, bester Strand der Stadt etwas 5 min fußlaüfig erreichbar, supermarkt um die Ecke führt kaltes Bier, kostenlose Fahrräder vom Hostel entleihbar. Einzig alleine 10,- für Waschmaschinennutzung ist zu teuer. Im großen und ganzen aber eine absolute Empfehlung!

Extremely pathetic service. The lady at the reception was very rude and continued taunting. I don’t know how people even stay at this place.

What a great hostel to stay at, the perfect spot; feels like home away from home. The owners are the among the nicest people I've met traveling. Great rooms, bar is a great bonus, and the outdoor space is among the best ive seen. I will definitely have to come back, and would recommend this spot to anyone staying in zadar!

직원분이 친절하셔서 좋았어요. 버스 터미널이 가까웠고, 늦은 시간에도 체크인을 하고 일찍 체크아웃을 할 수 있었습니다. 자정에 도착해서 다음날 오전에 나갔는데 불편한거 없었고, 화장실 및 기타 시설도 깨끗했어요.

I absolutely loved my stay at Lazy Monkey Hostel! I had some trouble with my phone during the trip, and they incredibly kind and supportive. Everything was super clean, and the decor was beautiful—such a cozy and stylish place. The location is perfect too, it's in a very quiet area, which is great for relaxing, and it's just a short walk from the bus station. I would recommend it 100%

Friendly and chill hostel in a quiet but not too distant part of the city. The staff were very friendly and gave some great and detailed recommendations. Was there for 4 nights. The kitchen was quite big and the bathrooms were well maintained too. Its quite near to the main bus station , one of the ferry ports , supermarkets and a good beach.

I had the most amazing time at the Lazy Monkey. The hostel provides great facilities to their guest including parking, a kitchen, indoor and outdoor hangout areas. Perfect mix of social and relaxation.

Staff is super friendly and always eager to help you. Property is located in a quiet neighbourhood of Zadar 30mins walking distance from old town. I liked the vibes there, away from hustle and bustle of the city. Coastline and beaches are nearby,perfect for morning strolls with fresh air and breeze. It has good kitchen, laundry, parking and common area. Perfect for long stay and slow traveler.

I stayed in Lazy Monkey for a couple of days in September (2024), had a blast, very well maintained Hostel with a great team, very alive, the hostel didnt even needed to organize things, they just happened! You are relatively near to the beach, bus station, somewhere to do your grocery... 10/10 worth every penny Back in September a storm hit the area of Zadar, they stayed up all night to avoid any flooding in the rooms. You see the effort they put to the place! Best wishes, the german Venezuelan Alejandro ;)
