The port of Pirec is very beautiful and offers water and electricity, and the staff is welcoming, extremely kind, and efficient. It would deserve 5 stars if it weren’t for the Genetal Lounge Pub, which disturbs the entire dock with deafening music until almost 2 a.m., making it impossible for anyone to sleep. The authorities should shut down this venue, which, moreover, receives quite a few complaints from customers.

Nice but, DO NOT STAY DURING THE NIGHT! We docked here for the night while sailing through Croatia with a sailing boat. Local employees were very kind and helped us during the docking procedure and spoke multiple languages. Water and electricity was also available. The harbor is quite nice with clear water and multiple facilities nearby. Poreč old town is really nice and definitely worth a stop with good seafood restaurants. After having spent a nice evening we came back to our boat ready to sleep for the night but unfortunately this was impossible until late during the night. The nearby disco-bar which was supposed to close at midnight kept playing techno music at very high volume up until 2AM. This of course made sleeping impossible. Personally I find really inappropriate that clubs are allowed to disturb the quiet in such a way, especially when in front of a harbor with multiple tourist docked only at couple of meters away. This should not be allowed. Next time we will dock in the bay and go to the shore with our dinghy instead of docking there.
