We bought the ticket for the funicular and castle entry, however buying the ticket for just the funicular would’ve been enough as this allows you access into the main castle grounds, the castle ticket just lets you into more specific areas and is not really necessary in my opinion. Great views nonetheless

Wir haben das Schloss nur von außen angesehen. Sehr viel Kommerz, jede Menge Kaffees, Restaurants und Boutiques. Aber kostenloser Zugang zur Terrasse mit Blick auf Ljubljana

Nice walk from the city center, great views and surprisingly good facilities inside the Castle. Jazz bar, restaurants, wine bar, museum, theater Gallery. Amazing place. Everything is free except the watch tower and some exhibitions inside the museum, in my opinion it's not worth the money since the surroundings are great
