The perfect starting point to discover the city. If you are in good condition take the walk to the castle, it isn’t that long and offers you a nice walk, really not that difficult. The castle is very nice to spend a couple of hours and holds two nice restaurants. The one in the tower is more expensive than the one on the central square but they are really really good! We’ve enjoyed them very much. The view from the castle on the city is great. A must see!

Siamo saliti a piedi percorrendo il bosco speranzosi di vedere un castello medievale (le fondamenta risalgono all XII secolo), ricostruito in parte, ma sicuri che avrebbero mantenuto il gusto e il sapore del tempo. Dopo avere pagato 10 euro a persona oltre a circa 5 euro di audio guida, entriamo. Surreale e comica la gestione delle tappe numerate:l'audio guida dava dei numeri (alcuni introvabili) la cartina esposta ne dava altri. Quel poco che rimane a del castello (pozzo, celle, è frammenti di muro) è stato sovrastato da una ricostruzione in acciaio e legno piuttosto estrema più vicina ad un loft newyorchese o ad uno spazio espositivo. Il massiccio business intorno ( bar, ristoranti, gadget, jazz club) non ci sorprende troppo. Purtroppo abbiamo scoperto troppo tardi che puoi entrare senza pagare e puoi vedere quasi tutto

Este castillo es un poco extraño, lo estan restaurando de una manera un poco cahotica en el interior. La parte externa esta muy bien y la torre desde donde puedes divisar 1/3 de Eslovenia. En el interior los salones se han convertido en exposiciones, las torres en restaurantes y una parye en un museo. Tiene un parquing cerca o se puede subir andando o en cremallera.

Very cool overwiew from the castle tower to the whole city. I liked the place. In fact, the majority of site was ten Cates, looks interesting with the combination of modernity. There are bar and restaurant on site, and if you want just to have a simple walk inside the yard, and have a view from the gates you don't need to buy a ticket. Also interesting the museum and art fake, just one big minus wa a AC system in the history museum, all windows closed and diffucult to breath, unfortunately this destroyed my enjoyment of the museum.
