The Learning Tree International Kindergarten (TLT)

Our Unique Approach
Our team at TLT consists of highly qualified educators in Early Childhood Education and English as a first or second language. Our curriculum is framed by the High/Scope approach, along with elements from successful educational models such as Montessori and Reggio Emilia. This blend, supported by over 45 years of combined educational experience, ensures a high-standard curriculum tailored to encourage hands-on learning.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
We actively promote learning outside the classroom through enriching experiences such as field trips, nature explorations, museum visits, and participation in artistic and athletic events. These opportunities aim to broaden children's horizons and enhance their educational journey while fostering well-rounded individuals.

My daughter spent two weeks at the TLT camp, and I can only say the best things about it. The camp is extremely well organized. Every day we received photos and a short summary of the children’s activities, which was both lovely and helpful, as it allowed us to follow how their day went and how they were progressing. Each week, a new WhatsApp group is created for parents, since children attend for varying durations, which adds to the sense of structure and individual attention. Each week at camp has its own theme, explored through a variety of workshops, drawing, experiments, cooking, and other fun, educational activities that keep the children engaged and entertained. The camp is conducted in English, which was a big plus, as it really helped my daughter practice and build confidence in speaking the language. The teachers and staff running the camp are warm, kind, and truly loving in their approach to the children. You can tell they genuinely enjoy their work, and the children respond with trust and smiles. I wholeheartedly recommend this camp to any parent looking for a high-quality, safe, and enriching summer program for their child.

TLT has been our family’s home for over five years. We started our journey here when our daughter was just two years old, thanks to glowing recommendations from friends. We even moved to the Mlinovi area just to be close to the wonderful nursery and preschool. When life took us to Dubai, leaving TLT felt like saying goodbye to family. But each summer, we return—because our daughter absolutely loves attending what we truly believe is the best summer camp in the country. She is always excited to reconnect with the same dedicated teachers, kind principal, and friends, just as if she never left. TLT excels in nurturing creative thinking, logical and problem-solving skills, celebrates cultural diversity, and fosters exceptional language abilities. And then there are the cooking classes—truly the best we’ve ever seen! Where else can children pick apples straight from the garden, peel and grate them, then bake and enjoy apple pie together with their teacher? It’s magical. Coming from Dubai, these experiences feel even more special to us—better than any theme park or attraction—because TLT offers something far more valuable: a real sense of home, warmth, and belonging.

This is such a great preschool. Not only did my daughter’s stuttering improve, but emotionally she has transformed into the happiest and confident child. The teachers are incredibly caring and loving. They made my daughter feel loved ever day! She was smiling and couldn’t wait to go to preschool. Not once has she cried. In addition, the learning curriculum is superior. Already she had learned to write, count and learn lots about space, history and art and culture. Really prepared her for school! Naš sin je proveo dva tjedna u ljetnom kampu i bilo mu je stvarno super! Od prvog dana osoblje je bilo jako susretljivo, fleksibilno i posebno su se potrudili oko njegove prilagodbe. Ono što nam se jako svidjelo je to što se sve uvijek transparentno komunicira pa nema iznenađenja, uvijek znamo što se događa i kako dijete napreduje. Baš se vidi da im je stvarno stalo do djece i da rade ovaj posao s ljubavlju. U vrtiću vlada ugodna, obiteljska atmosfera i svi su jako pristupačni tako da je sin živao svaki dan i s veseljem išao i vraćao se, a progovorio je i prve rečenice na engleskom. 🙂 Hvala od srca još jednom cijelom timu!

Moja kći je ovo ljeto pohađala engleski ljetni kamp i bila je oduševljena! Kamp je bio sjajno organiziran, s raznovrsnim i kreativnim aktivnostima koje su joj svaki dan činile zanimljivim i zabavnim. Posebno su je veselile radionice crtanja, gdje je mogla izraziti svoju kreativnost i steći nove vještine. Our daughter spent two wonderful years at TLT. When she first joined, she didn’t speak any English – today, she is fluent. That alone speaks to the care, dedication, and support of the entire team. From the very first day, this place felt warm, welcoming, and full of heart. The teachers are incredible: caring, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They treat every child as an individual, encouraging their curiosity, creativity, and confidence. I’ve seen such a transformation in my kids— not just in what they’re learning, but in how happy and secure they feel. My kids walked in smiling and came out with stories, songs, and crafts made with so much pride. The activities are thoughtful, the environment is stimulating and safe, and the communication with parents is excellent — I always know what’s going on and feel involved in their little world. We have been attending TLT for the last year and a half and we couldn’t wish for a better environment for our daughter. The teachers are very attentive, hands-on and loving to the children.
