Ze hadden een leuk tafeltje voor ons uitgekozen, afgelegen van de straat en zicht op het water in de verte. De ober was heel vriendelijk en heel atent. Het eten was top en naar verwachting. Hier zie je ons zeker weer moesten we de kans hebben.

One of My Best Memories in Dubrovnik This restaurant gave me one of the most unforgettable experiences in Dubrovnik. The service was warm and welcoming—genuinely kind people who made us feel like we were in the best place to be. After trying several restaurants in the Old Town, this one stood out for its authentic atmosphere and exceptional quality. We ended up coming three times in just three days—already approved! The food was outstanding—every dish beautifully presented and full of rich, authentic flavor. The ambiance was just as special, with live music during dinner adding to the relaxed and memorable vibe. Every item on the menu looked amazing—and everything we ordered truly was. I highly recommend it and would return again and again without hesitation.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times and tried a variety of dishes—everything has been amazing. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is just as impressive: the waiters are always friendly and welcoming, which is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. In the evenings, a calm and gentle singer adds to the restaurant’s relaxed vibe. Highly recommended!

Boli sme tu 4x. Velmi zalezi na koho natrafite a ci si date jedlo. Ak jedlo, tak sa snazia a su velmi mili. Ak pivo a vodu a nebodaj idete z plaze, su trochu neprijemni. Inak pekna, prijemna restauracia, vyborne jedlo a na Dubrovnik pomer kvalita/cena je to super.

we trusted the ratings and went there but for our taste the food tasted plain (a bit like hospital food) the best dish we had was the cheese platter, which is unfortunately the only dish where they didnt cook it at all so that says enough i guess. the staff was nice but service felt also mid

Having dined at Marangun, I'm really confused by the 5/5 star reviews. The photos on their website also make it look like a top tier place. The food was extremely average, almost disappointing considering the price tag, and I can't say there was anything special at all about the place. Even the views were average in comparison to other places in Dubrovnik. Would not recommend unfortunately - much more attention needs to be paid to the food. I had the Istrian pljukanci pasta and the sauce honestly tasted like soya sauce mixed with hot water.
