Opening Hours
The Medvedgrad Visitor Center operates from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with the last entry at 3 PM. Please note that the center is closed on Mondays. Special closures include September 6th and September 11th, 2025.
Guided tours start daily at 11 AM. Group visits can be arranged with a minimum notice of 48 hours and must be agreed upon with the Public Institution Nature Park Medvednica.

Die Naturkundeausstellung im Turm war toll und interaktiv. Der historische Teil war sehr ausführlich. Ich war überladen von Infos auf kleinstem Raum. Das lesen und schauen der Filme wurde durch laut quatschendes Personal gestört

A very nice place to visit. We spent there about 2 hours and enjoyed them thoroughly. It Is not just the ruins. There are fantastic interactive expositions. It is worth visiting.

It is a small castle with not many rooms or areas to explore. It has been recently renovated and the walkways, staircases, and viewing platforms on the tower are in great condition. The renovation includes new museum-like exhibits but some of them are not captivating for an adult. It seems many of the exhibits are aimed towards children. There are picnic tables, but at lunchtime all of the tables are in the direct sun with no shade of any kind. This makes the tables unusable during the summer. The bathroom was clean. Overall okay place to visit. 10 Euro per person is too expensive, but at least it's clear where the money went since the renovation has been well done.

Schöne kleine Burg. Man kann bis oben vor die Burg fahren. Schöne Aussicht auf Zagreb und Umgebung. Eintritt 8 Euro. Nur ein Cafeautomat in der Burg.
