Ich komme jeden Morgen immer gerne zu Ana einen Kaffee zu kaufen. Es ist schön jeden Morgen mit einem Lachen und ihrer aufgestellten Art empfangen zu werden und einen kurzen Schwatz abzuhalten (wenn sie Zeit hat). Kathrin

Der kurze Schwatz mit Ana gehört zu meinem Morgenritual. Sie kennt fast jeden mit Namen und hat immer ein lächeln für mich am frühen Morgen. :-)

Cute Coffee Shop that is very handy for a quick snack in the break. It is usually really busy during the breaks but Ana and the other staff members are working hard to make everyone happy.

Die Preise sind ein bisschen teuer, aber komme vor allem wegen Ana, die mir immer die Laune verbessert mit ihrer freundlichen Art und positiven Attitüde. Ich freue mich immer sie zu sehen und da bin ich auch nicht die einzige Person, die das tut. Danke Ana, dass du jeden Tag freundlich und gut gelaunt bist, dass gibt mir immer positive Energie. :)

TLDR: One of the staff members is extremely rude. Their coffee and brownie combo had two prices listed and I (mistakenly) assumed that the higher price would be for a larger cup of coffee. So, I asked for a larger cup of coffee, at which point, the staff member rudely exclaimed, ‘No!’ and patronisingly explained that that is not how a combo works and if I wanted a larger cup of coffee I could buy it separately… I was not asking for a free upgrade (and even if I were, the reaction was completely unprovoked). Turns out the cheaper price was for students. Having lost my Legi, I logged into my myStudies account to show her my student status — a practice that works at every ETH/UZH eating establishment — but she told me that this wouldn’t be accepted usually and acted as if she were doing me a favour by applying the discount.
