What a lovely surprise. We were visiting Slovenia from the U.S. having family roots in the area. This charming little spot served authentic, and delicious, Slovenian food in a lovely setting with views of the castle. Service was very friendly, attentive, and multi-lingual. The restaurant is in the park away from the crowds offering a nice little break from the bustling town of Lublijana. Three bridges was a short walk away after a lovely lunch. Hvala for a memorable afternoon!

Metto una stella provocatoria perché appena arrivati nel locale, il cameriera non ci fa accomodare perché avevano finito il cibo, poiché "ordiniamo le scorte solo in base alle prenotazioni telefoniche". Dopo aver fatto una camminata nel parco, non so se poi rimango a mangiare oppure no. Consiglio vivamente di andarci (prenotando prima ovviamente) perché l'ambiente è meraviglioso e la cucina è consigliata da molti siti internet

We enjoyed the excellent 4 course Sunday lunch - all courses were very tasty, beautiful presented and accompanied by very tasty walnut and seeded breads apparently baked on the premises. We couldn’t believe that there were not more people there - just a handful of tables when we had our meal. Our waiter was friendly, helpful and very professional. The views from the terrace over to Ljubljana castle were stunning.
