Reserved a car for 6 people, came the next day there were no cars for us, only 5 seated cars. Had to buy two of those for 120 euros each per day. Only returned a couple of euros for the misunderstanding.

Not the best experience – disappointing service and pricing issues. We originally booked a Volkswagen but were given an Opel instead as an “upgrade.” After pointing out that the Opel was actually cheaper per day than our original booking, the staff eventually offered us a Mercedes — but only after about 30 minutes of discussion. There were also several extra charges added that we didn’t request during the reservation. The price ended up jumping from €80 to €120 for just one day due to these added “essential” options. Just a heads-up: be careful and double-check everything before confirming — they may try to include extra costs. €120 for a single day felt quite steep. Overall, a disappointing experience. I’ll probably look elsewhere next time instead of booking with Sixt.

We had friendly staff who worked extremely efficiently, pragmatically and professionally both when we picked up and returned the car. The extension of the rental agreement by telephone also worked perfectly. Very satisfied with everything: uncomplicated handling, friendly staff, great car. Highly recommended.

Service client déplorable et pratiques particulierement malhonnêtes. Une étoile car on ne pas mettre moins. Nous avons loué une Opel Moka que nous avons dû ramener au bout de 2 jours car la plaque d'immatriculation, qui n'a pas été correctement fixée par l'agence de location, s'est détachée et est tombée sur la route (aucun choc ni aucun accident). Après échange avec l'agence, il a été convenu qu'ils reprennent la Moka. Ils nous ont proposé un autre véhicule. En fin de séjour, au moment de rapporter notre véhicule, changement de discours. L'agence nous annonce, contrairement aux jours précédents, nous facturer la perte de la plaque alors que nous n'étions pas responsables du fait qu'elle ait été mal fixée par l'agence. Et devinez quoi ? Une facture de 400 euros pour une plaque d'immatriculation !!! Soit disant le prix "catalogue" de Sixt pour une plaque en plastique !!! Donc en plus de nous facturer la plaque d'immatriculation tombée sur la route car juste clipsée par l'agence, la note est plus que salée (400 euros alors qu'une plaque coûte en moyenne 50 euros !!). Nous ne nous sommes pas gènes pour leur signifier que leurs pratiques étaient plus que douteuses et malhonnêtes. De plus, l'agente d'accueil a été désagréable et impolie, a se permettre de lever le ton. A FUIR ABSOLUMENT !! MALHONNETES ET DESAGREABLES

Nous avons loué une Volvo XC40 pour une semaine en juin chez Sixt Makarska. Très bon accueil, aussi bien à la réception qu’au moment du retour du véhicule. La voiture était impeccable et agréable à conduire. Les consignes étaient claires, et les personnes à l’accueil prennent le temps de bien expliquer les démarches, ce qui est très appréciable. Le tarif de 200 € pour la semaine est très rentable compte tenu de la qualité du véhicule et du service. Petite remarque toutefois : en cas d’affluence, le temps d’attente peut être long (environ 20 minutes par client), notamment lorsque les conseillers accompagnent les clients à leur véhicule. Prévoyez un peu de marge si vous êtes pressés.

Absolutely horrible check in process. Don't call them because they won't answer. Friendly staff and good cars are nice, but damn...waiting in a long line for 45 mins to an hour just to pick up a set of keys for a car booked in advance is ridiculous. Two stars because the one person in the kiosk was nice, but horrible wait times for a "quick" pickup. Just take the bus or the ferry and don't waste your time here unless you have more than an hour to waste on your vacation and you really like standing in line for long periods of time because they are way under staffed.
