I’ve rented cars from this company at Zadar Airport several times without issues, and the cars were always clean, new, and reliable — this time was no different. However, the return experience was disappointing. When picking up the car, I was asked to sign a form with a note at the bottom offering post-return cleaning for €8 (or up to €250 if excessively dirty). I declined, planning to wash the car myself, but didn’t manage to. The car was only slightly dusty, so I expected to pay the stated €8. Instead, the staff member (who was quite rude) charged me €30, claiming a penalty with no explanation or visible price list. If they advertise €8, they shouldn’t randomly make up amounts. These surprise fees feel like a tourist trap, and it’s a disappointing change from previous years. If the company responds and offers a fair resolution, I’ll gladly update my review.
