Goede service ondanks opstartproblemen. We hadden een reservering geplaatst voor een huurauto, maar bij het ophalen deden zich helaas wat problemen voor. Gelukkig werden we uitstekend geholpen door medewerker Dario. Hij was vriendelijk, geduldig en dacht echt met ons mee om tot een goede oplossing te komen. Dankzij zijn inzet konden we alsnog met een goed gevoel op pad.

The best experience I've had renting a car. Even though my flight areived late and I got to Europcar few minutes after 8 they waited for me. I had insurance through booking provider and they immediately said that this covers everything and did not try to sell me anything extra. My debit card with credit possibility was accepted no problem and the man and woman at the desk were friendly, helpful and kind. Even got an upgrade and received my car in a matter of minutes!

Terrible experience, avoid booking your rental here! I received a rental car which clearly had wear and tear on the clutch system that became more and more noticeable after driving with it. Not responsive via phone when trying to take contact about this concern. Having to drive all the way back to Split airport for a replacement car! Finally received a replacement car that functioned properly which we drove for a week (all the way to Dubrovnik) and handed the car over without issues. To my surprise I received upon my return back home a charge for the damages and the replacement of the clutch system claiming I was responsible for it!! Unbelievable how certain car rentals will try and use everything to charge customers and try to convince and mislead unaware drivers that this kind of car malfunctions happens out of the blue, and not because of the thousands of (mis)usage of the gear of previous customers in a very hilly terrain like Croatia. Spare yourself the headache and avoid at all cost!

Estafadores. Reservamos un coche grande y nos dieron uno de la menor categoría, al protestar nos dijeron que no habían mas coches. (No pagues mas por un coche grande, solo tienen pequeños) Te mandan a recogelo y dicen que alli hay personal para atenderte, pero despues de 1 hora vemos que habían 2 chicos jóvenes dentro de un coche escondidos. Las demás empresas de alquiler se veian mucho mejor organizados y con una flota de coches mayor. NO ALQUILEIS AQUÍ.

Extrem schlechter Service. Bitte Aufpassen, es wird versucht den Kunden zu einem dritt Anbieter zu schleusen. Dieser ist überteuert und zieht die Touristen ab. Leute am Schalter sind nicht professionell und sehr unfreundlich. Von 5 Service Mitarbeitern arbeitet 1/2. 4 1/2 Mitarbeiter pennen. Meine Wartezeit obwohl ich vorbestellt hatte betrug weit über eine Stunde. Vor mir war eine Person. Wirklich wirklich unterirdisch.

Unverschämt und irreführend – nie wieder! Ich habe über Check24 einen Mietwagen bei Europcar gebucht – bewusst mit der Option, dass die Kaution nur 500 € beträgt. Am Schalter vor Ort dann die Überraschung: Man verlangte plötzlich 1250 € Kaution. Nach längerer Diskussion waren es „nur noch“ 1000 € – aber eben nicht das, was gebucht und schriftlich bestätigt war. Begründet wurde das Ganze mit angeblichen „Problemen mit Check24“ – dort würden falsche Informationen angezeigt. Für mich als Kunde völlig unverständlich, denn ich habe mich auf die vertraglich vereinbarte Leistung verlassen. Da wir das Auto dringend brauchten, blieb uns keine Wahl, als das Angebot so anzunehmen – aber fair oder kundenorientiert war das ganz und gar nicht. Fazit: Irreführende Angaben, widersprüchliche Kommunikation und keine echte Lösung vor Ort. Ich werde sowohl Europcar als auch Check24 in Zukunft meiden, wenn es um Mietwagenbuchungen geht.

Unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin, die Tatsachen verdreht und versucht einen Abzuzocken. Nachdem man sich nicht auf ihre Tricks einlässt, schiebt sie einem einen Zettel auf kroatisch zu den man unterschreiben soll. Nach der Unterschrift erfährt man, dass es eine „freiwillige Stornierung ohne Erstattung“ des gebuchten Mietwagens ist.

Not honest service. When I returned the car, I received an e-mail to sign with checkout fuel quantity more than was real and initial mileage less than when I have taken this car.

Paying for a car we didn't ask and they only tell you after we paid . Not even an apology, bad service . The car we've got, it's a mini van and not as nicer than the Peugeot 2008. They just gave us an ugly car without even warning us before paying.

No problem whatsoever. Not the newest/most performing car, but it wasn't missing anything and didn't cost me a ton of money. Good quality for the bucks. Only thing I didn't like, I didn't get a full gas tank, so when giving it back you don't really know how much to pump in to make it even. But okay, maybe I didn't read carefully. So, be careful.

Terrible experience with our rental. When we returned the car the rep agreed no issue and said good to go and took our key. First they called and said we didn’t return the key even tho we handed the key to the rep in person. It took couple of days after the return for them to find the key. Then several more days later they sent email claiming damage was found on the car. This was a complete bogus. We emailed the Europe car corporate customer service with our dispute to raise the issue. Then “miraculously” they said sorry it’s just a misunderstanding and dropped the case…this was annoying experience and wonder if we are first to experience this kind of problem

Wegen einer unfreundlichen Dame die am Schalter die Welt erfunden hat (24.05.2025 08:43), stand ich ohne Mietwagen da. Es reichte schon das ich 40 Minuten warten musste für 2 Personen die vor mir am Schalter wahren, wahrscheindlich lag es an Ihrer Frust die Sie zur Arbeit mitnimmt und es am Schalter an den Kunden rauslässt, da Sie auch Aufregung hervorzeigten. Ich mache eigentlich keine negativen Rezesionen aber die Art und Weise ist die Musik im Leben. Sorry aber nie mehr!

Gas tank was not full, I was told to simply take a picture of the dashboard and send it by email to Europcar, I drove away and within 5km filled up the gas for 15€, so clearly the gas tank was not full, but yet I got an email response stating that the gas tank is full. Sadly. Bad and not honest service. I should have insisted to change the contract when accepting the car.

I have been a regular customer of the branch since 2010. The quality of the service used to be great until last summer. Since last year, the quality of the car, cleanness and customer service has deteriorated rapidly. I will now use another car rental company
