The numbers are well marked on the platforms so you can easily tell which one to take. That being said you have no way of knowing the status of a bus that is late, there is no updated screen near the platforms to inform you about anything regarding any kind of bus. Nowhere to sit down near the platforms while you wait for the bus. The station itself looks dirty and outdated. I'll give it one extra star because of the free wifi.

For a traveling spot and main connection to various parts of Croatia and Europe, it's poorly handled. The upside is very good shop. Coffee shop too but with odd hours. Otherwise, it needs major maintenance and improvements. Please, answer the phone! Good wind to all travellers!

Our experience at the Autobusni kolodvor Karlovac (Karlovac Bus Station) was a mix of timing issues and a bit of unexpected waiting. We arrived just as our intended bus had already left, which meant we had to wait approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes for the next departure. The station itself is quite basic and dated in appearance. The building has a long open-air platform with minimal shelter from the elements. The design feels stuck in the past, with a mix of closed shopfronts, faded signage, and concrete columns painted bright blue. There were a few people sitting around, but overall it felt a bit empty and underutilized—though not unsafe. During the waiting time, we wandered around Karlovac city, which helped kill some of the time. Luckily the station is located near the city center, so it was easy to get out and explore on foot. When our next bus finally arrived, the ride itself was unfortunately less than ideal. The air conditioning was barely functioning, leaving the interior stuffy and uncomfortably warm for the entire trip. Not exactly what you want on a hot day after waiting around. Summary: Location: Convenient and central Facilities: Very limited, some closed shops Waiting Experience: Okay, but bring patience Bus Ride: Hot and poorly ventilated Final Thoughts: Karlovac’s bus station does what it needs to—but don’t expect comfort or modern amenities. It's a functional transit point, not much more. The lack of cooling on the bus made the travel experience worse, so be prepared for a potentially warm ride depending on the company and vehicle.
