In my opinion the most effective classes, as classes were held every day, and there was always homework to consolidate the material. Pohađanje tečaja hrvatskog jezika na Croaticumu bilo je izvrsno iskustvo. Nastavnici su izuzetno stručni, strpljivi i motivirajući, a nastava je dinamična i dobro organizirana. Posebno mi se svidjelo što se naglasak stavlja ne samo na gramatiku, već i na govornu komunikaciju, što mi je pomoglo pronaći prijatelje te ljude koji su bili sa mnom na istoj valnoj dužini. Osim toga takva vrsta predavanja pomaže razvijanju spontanosti i improvizacije. Materijali koje smo koristili su moderni i prilagođeni razini tečaja, ponekad jako zabavni, ali najbitnije je da su korisni. Često se uključuju i zanimljive kulturne teme koje pomažu bolje razumjeti hrvatsko društvo. Osjećala sam se ugodno i opušteno. Nikada nisam imala sukob ili nesporazum. Preporučujem Croaticum svima koji žele ne samo kvalitetno naučiti hrvatski jezik, nego i naći svoje ljude, prijatelje, proširiti svoje horizonte. U svakom slučaju na Croaticumu svatko nađe ono što traži te nauči jezik ili poboljša svoja znanja. Croaticum će zauvijek biti u mom srcu!

I had an overwhelmingly positive experience studying Croatian here over three semesters. It is very intensive so I do not recommend it if you are trying to juggle a full time job as well but if you can commit to the study it should be very enriching!

I improved my Croatian, and the teachers are knowledgeable, very kind, and helpful. Besides the language lessons, we also met outside of school and they took us to various activities around the city.
