Loved this hotel, very calm and relaxing. The staff were excellent, the rooms were well maintained, the grounds were beautiful. Sun loungers always available both indoors and outside. My only gripes would be that the gym area was on the small side and there are only 3 treadmills, one that squeaked! Also the food was just ok - there's a wide selection there but it wouldn't be to my taste. The juice and coffee was awful. First world problems for sure. Overall, I'd highly recommend.

Amazing experience. Lovely hotel, grounds and pool. Friendly people and great location for everything required.Getting use of both Valamar hotels is perfect. The spa facilities are perfect and had the best massage ever. Can recommend 🙏🏻

The hotel spa is lovely, had an amazing massage with Mirta. Maro Club for kids is really great, facilities are phenomenal, but we tried to leave our kids there & after 30 mins my eldest was pretty upset, the staff didn’t seem to notice she was unhappy. The trampolines and other activities are amazing though & if you don’t mind staying with the kids it’s a great facility.|Pools were good, we spent most time at the smaller pool with the slides as it was a bit more child friendly. Hotel is spotlessly clean.|Our room was a bit of a let down, we had adjoining rooms which was great but they had no view and the decor was very dated. We were half board, the breakfast buffet was excellent and good selection on an evening but would have been good to have at least one night at the Al a carte restuarant included in the half board package, but this was extra. We opted to eat in the old town a couple of nights to mix it up.|Dubrovnik old town is simply stunning. I could spend hours roaming the streets if the kids would have let me! We also rented a little boat to do the blue caves, green caves tour, book it on Viatar direct & you can get a private tour for the same price as a group tour via the hotel. It was a lovely afternoon out.|Overall a nice family stay for our first trip to Croatia

O hotel possui uma estrutura excelente, com áreas comuns muito agradáveis, bem cuidadas e bonitas. O atendimento foi impecável em todos os setores, desde a recepção e o café da manhã até os serviços na praia e no restaurante. O quarto é espaçoso e confortável, e o banheiro também é bom. No entanto, conta com banheira, o que pode comprometer a mobilidade de algumas pessoas. Embora o hotel esteja localizado em uma área mais afastada do centro de Dubrovnik, há pontos de ônibus muito próximos, o que facilita o deslocamento. Além disso, o custo do Uber para outras regiões é acessível. A praia vinculada ao hotel fica na área de outra unidade da mesma rede. O mar é lindo, calmo e muito agradável para banho. Para utilizar as espreguiçadeiras, é cobrada uma taxa, se não me engano, 25 euros por dia, mas também é possível apenas frequentar a praia sem contratar esse serviço. Segui a recomendação do hotel e fiz o passeio "Três Ilhas", mas, pessoalmente, não achei interessante. A experiência foi um pouco cansativa e, na minha opinião, não valeu a pena. No geral, recomendo muito o hotel e, em uma próxima viagem à Dubrovnik, muito provavelmente me hospedarei lá novamente.

Teren obiektu ładny, w pokoju na powitanie czysto, jednakże po powrocie na koniec dnia nie uzupełniono żelu pod prysznic oraz nie umyto szklanek. Lokalizacja na plus, niedaleko plaży. Jedzenie dosyć tłuste, ale duży wybór. Do poprawy jest również otwieranie parkingu, brak zamontowanej kamery lub wydanej karty do szlabanu, za każdym razem trzeba chodzić na recepcję do hotelu aby pracownik otworzył szlaban pilotem. Basen zewnętrzny jak i wewnętrzny duży. Możliwość skorzystania z sauny, strefy fitness oraz spa. Polecam wykupić V level, gdzie są wysokiej jakości leżaki, jacuzzi, przekąski, napoje i alkohol.

Amazing buffet! Relaxing big pool always able to get a sun bed. If you are a couple or family wanting a relaxing stay then the area is safe, clean, and you get free towels to the president beach which is round the corner connected to this sister hotel. Highly recommend! If you want a busier fast pace holiday I would stay in the old town… but it’s crazy busy! This stay is far more relaxing!

I read several reviews before booking and whilst most were positive I was a bit concerned about some of the mid level reviews. Eventually we (wife and a 6month old baby) settled on the Lacroma and our experience was nothing but positive.|Arrival|On our arrival, a young lady (Gabriela I think) was nothing but exceptional, so friendly and helpful. On seeing our baby, the staff on our whole stay went above and beyond to assist. |Room|I believe we were upgraded on arrival to a room on the same floor level which was convenient for our pram. I'm not sure how our original room would have been but the Superior room we did have, was lovely - clean, spacious, with a lovely view of the sea, mountain range and night time entertainment the hotel put on. It was regularly cleaned and you could see the energy efficient methods the hotel was trying to employ.|Facilities|The hotel itself is spacious, clean and well staffed. There is a large indoor pool and an outdoor pool which we frequented often. Plenty of loungers/ umbrellas available. The spa / wellness centre was a lovely addition with a friendly team whom we enjoyed talking to. The tropic shower was a delight! All the sauna rooms were free also. I would say the massage treatments were particularly overpriced so we did not consider this. We never used the gym but the hotel with its grounds and ability to use other Valamar facilities was a plus. It is like a mini university campus with lots of shops and restaurants across the set up. We only tried one local restaurant (Komin) which was overpriced and not nice - avoid! They had a really cool Maro children's centre with tonnes of activities for toddlers and children, probably a bit too old for our baby but I can see this being a really useful facility for families.|The other Valamar Tirena may be aimed more at children but we felt the Lacroma was a perfect balance for us.|We did have our evening meal at the hotel restaurant buffet. There was a great selection of food, we never ate pork and there was lots of pork options and probably not enough chicken. Overall though a good variety of food and lovely ambience.|There is entertainment put on each evening outide beside a bar. We could enjoy this from our room balcony so a lovely end to the night.|Breakfast|Loved the breakfast buffet. Huge selection, it can get busy so you do need a bit of time to try out things like the omelette as this can create some queues. Indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy this. One of the days we ordered a takeaway breakfast and the hotel were great in accommodating this for us on late notice. Unfortunately the takeaway breakfast is quite poor with a lack of variety so this is something that could certainly be improved.|Transport|Bus directly outside the hotel takes you into the city so you can save on unnecessary taxi fares.|Staff|Friendly and all speak perfect english. Worth mentioning they really helped us also with heating / sterilising our baby bottles |Conclusion|There were several reviews questioning the 4 star rating. I could not disagree more, this certainly lived up to a four star rating without a doubt. We did play quite a considerable amount to stay here but I would say on balance it was worth it. Having such a nice hotel was pivotal with the weather being so warm, we could stay and relax at the hotel till much later before heading out into the city. It was our first trip with a baby and it was a very positive experience for us, largely down to great staff and great hotel facilities.

We have recently returned from a great 11 night holiday. The Lacroma is a nice hotel, and your room could play a big part in how nice a stay you have. We were initially given the wrong room as we had paid for a superior room through TUI, but were told it was correct, after a couple of nights and a enquiry to Tui, we were moved and upgraded and the whole episode was dealt with brilliantly by Ozena.|The new room transformed our stay, even though the room initially was decent, our views looking over the Adriatic were amazing. |The breakfast buffet offers a wide choice you would expect, and was good,and on until 10 we were not half board so could not comment on food in evening. Beer at hotel was around €7 and wine was on average about €30-35 a bottle|The pool was ok and I thought the sunbeds were a bit close together, but otherwise clean and surrounded by nice gardens. Not too far away to centre of Lapad , and the number 6 bus stops close to hotel

4 Sterne Hotel mit 5 Sterne Mitarbeiter, Essen/Restaurant, Lage und Ausstattung!||Was für ein Empfang!||Gerade angekommen wurden wir fantastisch vom Herrn, der für das Gepäck zuständig ist begrüßt und er hat alles übernommen, so dass wir glücklich ankommen konnten! er hat uns den nächsten/bequemsten Parkplatz zugeteilt und sich allein um unser Gepäck gekümmert! Danke!||2. grandioser Empfang an der Rezeption der Dame (Sorry! Name fällt mir nicht ein, lange blonde Haare) welche mitteilte, dass wir ein Upgrade erhalten haben (es gab im Vorfeld leider Buchungsprobleme über das Reservierungsbüro und wurde scheinbar vom Hotel im Sinne des Gastes gelöst, beeindruckend)||Vielen Dank an alle, die hier mitgewirkt haben!||Wie gesagt, die Belegschaft dieses Hotels ist sehr höflich, hilfsbereit und freundlich (schwarze Schafe gibt es überall nicht war? Einer in Gestalt eines Kellners, der die Teller Partout nicht abräumen wollte ist mir auch begegnet. Er wurde dann aber scheinbar bis zum nächsten Tag vom sehr aufmerksamen Restaurantmanager beruhigt ;-))||5 Sterne Restaurant, Essen ist fantastisch (hatten Frühstück und Abendessen) Abwechslung, Anpassung an alle Essensbedürfnisse und die Vielzahl lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig.|Ich verstehe manche mindere Bewertungen wirklich nicht!| Im Sinne von Erwartungsmanagement: es gibt keine frisch gepressten Säfte, aber jede Menge frisches hochwertiges Obst!|Vor dem Kaffeeautomaten gibt es eine lange Schlange, aber Filterkaffee ist stets zur Verfügung. Also alles gut!||Hervorheben möchte ich die Dame am Restaurant Empfang: höflich freundlich liebenswert werden die Gäste empfangen und beraten, danke! :-)||5 Sterne Lage, einpaar Schritte bis zum Bus, alle 10 Min in die Altstadt, da kann man nicht mehr sagen, nicht wahr?||Ein Wahnsinns-Spa Bereich mit geöffnetem Indoorpool im Hochsommer! |Das ist 5-Sterne Luxus!||5 Sterne Fitnessstudio, gibt alles!||Außenpool groß und einladend, genügend Liegen (kostenlos), Handtuch Service (kostenlos), V-Bereich dahinter.||Beschilderter Weg zum ca 5 Min zu Fuß (oder via Hotel-Shuttle Bus) entfernten Partner Hotel Strand (feiner Kies, flach abfallend, aber sehr weitläufig und auch Felsen und Betonplatten Zugänge), 2 Liegen Kosten ca 25 pro Tag. Gibt aber wenn auch wenige Beteiche wo man ohne Liegen liegen kann.||Ebenso fussläufig gibt es 2 weitere Strände (kostenpflichtige Liegen)|Also Hotel-Lage wierum perfekt!||Es gibt einen kleinen Markt, wo man Fahrscheine, Snacks, Badesachen erwerben kann. Sehr nette auskunftsfreudige Dame.:-)||Der Concierge ist extrem nett und hilfsbereit (surft alles gemeinsam im Netz wenn nöti!) :-)||Es gibt auch noch ein anderes absolutes Highlight: Dinner in der Höhe! Unbedingt recherchieren! Einzigartig!||Wir sind zwar noch hier; haben aber schon beschlossen, unseren nächsten Urlaub wieder hier zu verbringen!|Denke das sagt alles aus!

Un super endroit avec de beaux aménagements, l'hôtel et ses extérieurs sont bien entretenus, la nourriture est super avec un vaste choix, les chambres sont confortables et bien équipées, je recommande

Me hospede 2 noches en este bellísimo hotel. Destaco la ubicación, la vista, las instalaciones y la deliciosa comida tanto en el desayuno como en la cena. Muy moderno y confortable. Sin dudas volvería
