Had the best trip of my life right here in the Balkans, passing through Medjugorje. It was a real privilege to stay with Pero and his family's inn. Was very welcoming and accommodating with my university classes. So very comfortable here and unbelievably affordable. Pero, if you read this, I miss you terribly and I hope to see you again someday

Very disappointed. Booked via booking.com one month before arrival date. No communication on deposit. Then contacted late night with a 9am deadline of sending deposit via Western Union. As in another country from home location at the time, Western Union would not allow me to create an online account as it picks up on your location. Contacted the hotel via emails and no response. They merely cancelled booking in booking.com. No communication from property.Now showing a minimum of 3 nights stay, probably linked to the death of the pope and people travelling to mourn so able to make extra money. Meanwhile, we have ended up paying extra money to be further away last minute and my 84 year old mum who is very shaky on her feet is stressed out with the prospect of a long walk in case we cannot park close by.
