Wir waren im Juli für eine Übernachtung im Hotel. Die Hotelzimmer haben keine Klimaanlage und sind demgemäß viel zu warm gewesen. Das Bad selbst ist irgendwie in der Zeit stehen geblieben. Alles in allem war die Übernachtung für den doch eher unteren und schlechten Zimmer Standard viel zu teuer. |Das krasse Gegenteil war dann aber das angegegliederte Restaurant. |Ich habe seit langem keinen so guten Fisch mehr gegessen wie im Restaurant Topli Val.|Auch die sonstigem Gerichte, die meine Freunde gegessen haben, waren super klasse. Ebenso war die Weinberatung durch den Kellner hervorragend.

Extraordinary dining experience. Carpaccio and tuna tartare are to die for, as are the dumplins you can have as a dessert. Summer is a great time to visit so you can enjoy restaurant’s beautiful terrace. Service is top notch, if you want quality wine pairings Ziga will take great care of you.

Très bonne adresse dans le petit centre de Kobarid. Ici, on se fait plaisir avec de magnifiques produits frais de la mer et d’excellents vins. Accueil et service discret, souriant et efficace. Une recommandation à Kobarid.

We stayed here for four nights while we fished the Kobarid region. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is excellent! (Even the breakfast was delicious and better than others we've had at hotels in the EU.) The reason I am withholding the fifth star was that our room had a bath versus a shower and that meant kneeling or sitting to wash my hair which I found challenging. Our room was very clean and spacious. You can tell the family takes pride in their hotel and restaurant. We really enjoyed our time here.

Family run restaurant and and easily one of the best choices in Kobarid where you can expect incredible service and beyond amazing food. Seafood lovers will definitely enjoy it here (crudo & oysters!!) and the whole atmosphere was just great at dinner sitting. They have plenty of great wine options so we gladly followed the pairing recommendations. Please say thank you to our host & sommelier Žiga, we’ll definitely revisit soon. 👌

I visit them at least 3-4 times per year and I have to say they are great. The hospitality, cleanliness and professional service from the Hvala family is amazing. I come for the food which is amazing each time, however I get surprised by everything else as well. Would recommend to anyone!

Amazing experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, with the seafood being the best I've had. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

This family-run hotel in the small town of Kobarid is a great place to stay in this region of Slovenia. It has a very good restaurant and is close to so many activities. During out stay, I suffered an injury hiking which required medical attention. Before leaving for Lake Bled I received a medical bill which I had difficulty finding a way to pay for. The owners, without my request, found a way to resolve the problem. They spent their valuable time to assist me with the problem and resolved the issue totally. I will remain grateful for a memorable (for many reasons) stay.
