Beautiful views from pool, restaurant and lobby. Access to beach and walk along the shore. Breakfast was excellent. Variety and quality. Staff was very good. They have a very strong sustainability program which was nice addition.

Only thing good about this hotel was the location. Besides that the hotel said they would keep my luggage secure before my check in time only to come back and find it gone ! They had no idea who took it and staff member accused me of removing my own luggage. Only until another staff mentioned perhaps the luggage was picked up by accident by another tour that was checking out that day. Long story short I sat on the hotel lobby from 2pm Check in until 6:40 pm ! That’s when I finally got my luggage back. The hotel had no AC working and provided me with a portable one that I had to fill with water on a daily basis to use. Not at all what you should expect from a 4 star hotel. Very tiny shower stall. I’m 5’2” and 135 pounds and that shower stall was barley enough room to lift my hands to use the soap without bruising myself up against the tiny capsule they called the shower.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the sleek, modern design and the warm hospitality of the staff. The location is perfect—right by the sea with incredible views over Lapad Bay, and just a short taxi ride from the Old Town. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with a balcony that gave us stunning sunset views each evening. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful details like the high-quality toiletries and excellent Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a highlight every morning—an abundant and fresh buffet with plenty of healthy and indulgent options. We also enjoyed drinks on the terrace bar and a relaxing afternoon by the infinity pool, which overlooks the Adriatic. Service throughout was exceptional: professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. The wellness center and gym were also top-notch—clean, well-equipped, and with impressive views. Overall, Hotel Kompas exceeded our expectations in every way. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

What an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived at Hotel Kompas it felt like we were stepping into something special. The views of the sea are absolutely stunning, and the location is perfect for exploring everything Dubrovnik has to offer. There’s an amazing coastal walk right by the hotel, which takes you along beautiful scenery and leads you straight to the beach – so convenient! Plus, it’s just a short distance to the Old Town, making it easy to pop in whenever you want to experience the historic charm of Dubrovnik. But what really made this place shine was the staff. So warm and friendly, they truly made us feel like we were at home. Jonny at Reception went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, and David at the pool bar was an absolute gem – always smiling and making sure we had everything we needed while lounging by the pool. Honestly, there’s nothing bad to say about this hotel. From the views to the service, the food, the spa, and the location, it truly has everything. If you’re considering a trip to Dubrovnik, don’t think twice – book Hotel Kompas now. You won’t regret it!

Just returned from an amazing week at Hotel Kompas. Everything about our stay was perfect – spacious rooms with large super king beds and stunning views. We especially appreciated the chocolates left in our room each night, a lovely touch and housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay. There were always plenty of sun loungers available throughout the day, so no stress there. Breakfast offered a fantastic variety each morning. The staff were excellent, especially David at the pool bar! Thank you for an amazing stay, we were truly sad to leave!

Stunning scenery every morning from the balcony overlooking the bay. Excellent location. Hotel is very modern, and boasts two bars, (Sphere and lunar) plus a very nice restaurant, (Spere). It is approximately 15 minutes by public bus or five minutes by taxi from the Old Town Ploce Gate.

Visited 1st June for one week with family. Gorgeous hotel, very clean and great views. Ideally located across from the beach and all the bars and restaurants a few minutes away. Sun loungers are always available at the pool. Staff were all lovely and hospitable. Beds were comfortable, good air con in the rooms. Would recommend staying in Lapad if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere; the Old Town is great to visit but very busy!

We had the most incredible stay at Hotel Kompas and can’t thank David enough for making the experience so seamless and special. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations — the staff was warm and welcoming, the views were breathtaking, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect. David went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made all the difference. Incredible, comfortable, and a great location. We walked to the city one day which was a bit far but doable, but plenty of buses near by which were similarly easy to use/find. Breakfast was an amazing spread. Would absolutely recommend again!

Spectacular! This may be the most stunning property I’ve ever stayed at in my life. From the moment you walk in, the views from the 10th floor are absolutely stunning. The entrance is located on the top floor since the hotel is on a cliff side showcasing the beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea right from the lobby. The staff was outstanding, the breakfast buffet was over the top and the rooms were cozy and clean. I look forward to visiting here again soon!!
