Habe dort eine Nacht während einer Geschäftsreise auf der Durchfahrt übernachtet. Das Personal ist sehr nett und allzeit hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück wird nach persönlichen Vorlieben zubereitet und an den Tisch gebracht (kein Buffet!). Einziges Manko war, dass die Kopfkissen und das ganze Zimmer leicht nach Zigarettenrauch gerochen hat. Ausserdem musste ich ca. 5 Mücken beseitigen, die im Zimmer sonst nachts für unerwünschte Nachtruhestörung gesorgt hätten. Fazit: Das Hotel ist o.k. - man könnte einiges verbessern aber wegen fehlender Konkurrenz ist das anscheinend nicht notwendig!

It was the second time I have been in Hotel Bela Krajina and I'm very satisfied. Simple, clean, friendly stuff, located in the city centre. I was on a business trip and have stayed for 2 nights. ||Room:||Not very big, but enough. Simple, but very confortable. I liked the bedding. Clean, soft and very warm. More than enough TV stations. Bathroom was very spacy. Shower is not standard 90x90 shower, so you can't move properly inside when you close the door, but it's a bigger one. Again, very clean. ||Restaurant and food:||Modern equipment. Fancy, but not too much. Food selection has suprised me. Not a standard menue, like in the most of the restaurants in Slovenija. Very innovative. Only for breakfast I would wish some healthy food (no vegetables). ||Reception:||Again, very friendly stuff, free WI-FI, planty of informations of the town and surroundings, a warm wellcome...||||Conclusion:||I can only recoment this hotel.

HBK is a nice hotel with a relaxed, laid back atmosphere, matching Metlika. It wasn't full, & I quite enjoyed the peace & quiet. The staff was very helpful & spoke English well (as well as some other languages). My room was clean & had everything I needed. (No fridge) The internet connection was not wireless, which was a bit inconvenient as I had to stretch my power cord all the way across the room. I also had a problem with the AC which was worked on & resolved. The restaurant was open for breakfast (which is included), lunch, & dinner, & I thought the food was awesome! The breakfasts were sumptuous - everything I could want, including eggs to order. (Not buffet style!)||Would I stay there again? Absolutely!

Tired from our trip we have to look for a hotel near Novo Mesto, reserved and we have room for a few minutes. The receptionist is very friendly, rooms very clean, bathroom is big enough. Very good breakfast service. Peace and quiet ... a beautiful place for rest after a long trip.|Very satisfaid !!!

We usually stay in 4 or 5 star hotels but in Metlika there was no other choice. So we haven't expected much from a 3 star countryside hotel but we were very surprised. The room was large enough to open a very big suitcase, there was a desk, a table and chairs. The bathroom with a large and very good shower cabin and a very strong shower was the best. We really enjoyed taking shower. The shampoo was also excellent. Towels were not very big but good quality. Furniture is really very simple, but what's most important is that the room was very clean as well as everywhere in the hotel. I was surprised because they have their menu even in Braille in various languages.The staff is very kind. The wifi was in the room but it stopped many times for an hour or so. We missed mini bar because we drink icy drinks through all the year and if it was not that cool we would miss air condition, too. For sure we would not stay there in summer. The restaurant is decorated very beautifully with birches brought directly from woods. (A birch is a symbol of Bela krajina region and "bela" means white.) The decoration is chosen with a high sense of aesthetics, warmth and tenderness and let you know that the general manager is a lady. You feel the warmth of the manager, very kind staff and the people of the region. Breakfast was simple but we could order also a plate of ham, cheese..It was enough and served in a neat restaurant.
