A wonderful place to stay in Dubrovnik. The location offers a stunning view of Lokrum Island, the Adriatic Sea, and the Old Town. The neighborhood is peaceful, with little tourist traffic — mostly beachgoers heading to Sveti Jakov. The place itself has everything you need for relaxation and comfort. We stayed in an apartment with a terrace, where we could rest in the shade among beautiful greenery after a day of sightseeing. The apartment is well-equipped with everything necessary — from toiletries to kitchen essentials for preparing meals and drinks. One bedroom has air conditioning, while the other is equipped with a large standing fan. Cleanliness is top-notch, and the decor deserves a special mention — it reflects the traditional Croatian townhouse style and adds a charming local character. We had excellent communication with the host, Kate. She not only contacted us before arrival but also welcomed us warmly (including a welcome drink), gave us a tour of the apartment, shared tips about the area, and answered all our questions. During our stay, she discreetly ensured our comfort, and we truly felt like at home. Practical Information: A calm 20-minute walk to the Old Town The nearest grocery store (Studenac) is a 10-minute walk towards the Old Town The nearest bus stop to the Old Town and city center is also about 10 minutes away in the same direction as the store Two beaches nearby: Divovici Beach: 5–10 minutes away, a rocky spot accessible via steep stairs leading directly to the sea Sveti Jakov Beach: about 10 minutes away, also with steep stairs; water shoes are helpful due to many stones, but it's possible to go to the water carefully without it. Arriving by car is a little bit longer due to one-way streets; Bukovca Street, which leads directly to the apartment, is narrow so in some places only one vehicle can drive. Kate, thank you for a short but wonderful stay. This place is highly recommended, and when we plan our next trip to Dubrovnik, we will definitely come back!
