The Festival za tretje življenjsko obdobje (F3ŽO) is a significant annual event dedicated to older adults, promoting their voices, fostering intergenerational dialogue, and creating an inclusive society. Established 25 years ago on the initiative of the Slovenian government in honor of the International Year of Older People, this festival has become the largest of its kind in Europe.
The festival takes place from September 30 to October 2, 2025, at Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana, and features a variety of programs designed to engage and inspire participants. The event is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on October 2 until 5 p.m.
