Supplément de tarif 150 euros car carte de débit différé et non carte de crédit. Agence de l'aéroport...prendre plutôt une agence locale beaucoup plus arrangeant.

Terrible. They are not sending us a bill for the damage after 5 months, only a random estimate that the insurance company doesn't want to refund, and are not reacting to calls and emails. Either corruption or terrible incompetence.

We booked a car for a week for our NYE trip to Croatia and Italy and everything went smooth. I paid the deposit which was nothing out of the ordinary for Avis (this is stated in the country specific T&C) - I own a car but when I am abroad I rent at Avis since at least 10 years. Yes, there is a surcharge for going abroad and I was surprised but after checking Avis' terms and conditions, this was normal (check the country specific T&C!) so in this case, reading them would prevent you from getting frustrated. I see that many other people are frustrated that they had to pay or pre-authorise sums which they did not expect but for me this is only because they did not see the T&Cs for Serbia. I understand this but it is not fair to say that the people of the rental station try to scam you or similar. So all in all, it was normal rental experience for me and I recommend anyone to rent but also read the T&Cs to be informed about everything! Thank you
